Going My Way is a 1944 musical comedy-drama movie. The movie is about a priest from East St. Louis, Illinois who changes parish life at a New York City church. Bing Crosby plays Father Charles.

The movie won seven Academy Awards, including the Best Picture.

At the 17th Academy Awards, Going My Way was nominated for 10 Academy Awards. They included two for Barry Fitzgerald for his work on the movie was nominated for both Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Later, the rules were changed so that it will not happen again.[1] The film won seven awards, including the Best Picture.[2]

In 2004, Going My Way was chosen for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
