History

Hallam FM first started broadcasting in 1974 as Radio Hallam.^[2] It was one of the early commercial radio stations in the United Kingdom. Over time the station changed its name to Hallam FM.

Today the station is part of Bauer Media Audio UK. It broadcasts on FM and on digital radio (DAB).^[3]
