Hiroyuki Abe (Japanese: 阿部 浩之, Abe Hiroyuki, born July 5, 1989) is a Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team.

Biography

Abe was born in Kitakatsuragi District, Nara on July 5, 1989. After graduating from Kwansei Gakuin University, he joined J1 League club Gamba Osaka in 2012. He played many matches from first season. However Gamba was relegated to J2 League end of the 2012 season. In 2013, Gamba won the champions and was returned to J1 in a year. In 2014, Gamba won all three major title in Japan; J1 League, J.League Cup and Emperor's Cup. In 2017, he moved to Kawasaki Frontale. In 2017, he scored 10 goals and Kawasaki won the J1 champions first time in the club history. Kawasaki also won the J1 champions in 2018. In 2020, he moved to Nagoya Grampus.

In November 2017, Abe was selected the Japan national team for 2017 E-1 Football Championship. At this tournament, he debuted against North Korea on December 9. He played 3 matches at this championship.
