The horned lizards (Phrynosoma) are a genus of lizard wlives in dry areas and deserts of North America. The female horned lizard lays her eggs in a hole in the ground.

Diet
The horned lizard eats mostly ants or other crawling insects.
Description
The horned lizard has strong armor to protect it from prey. It has pointed scales, as well as horns behind its head.[1] One of the most famous abilities of horned lizards are shooting blood from their eyes as far as 5 ft (1.5 m).[2]
