The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are smartphones started by Apple Inc. They form, together with the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, the 18th generation of iPhones. They changed the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. They were announced on September 9, 2024, and went to sale on September 20, 2024.^[4] The iPhone 16 Pro includes a screen size of 6.3 inches,^[5] while the iPhone 16 Pro Max includes a screen size of 6.9 inches.^[6] Both feature a faster processor, better cameras, works for Wi-Fi 7, larger batteries, and runs iOS 18.^[7]
