A jamboree is a scouting event. It is a large meeting of scouts from across a country or many countries. The first World Scout Jamboree was in 1920, in the United Kingdom. Since then, there have been 25 World Scout Jamborees, hosted in different countries. It is usually every four years.[1]

National organisations also hold smaller jamborees.[2][3]
