Jared Francis Harris (born 24 August 1961) is an English actor. He played Lane Pryce in Mad Men and as Ulysses S. Grant in Steven Spielberg's 2012 movie Lincoln. He won an Sitges Film Festival in 1999. His father was late Irish actor Richard Harris.
Harris was born in Hammersmith, London, England to an Irish father, actor Richard Harris and to a Welsh mother, Elizabeth Rees-Williams.[1] He studied at Downside School and at Duke University. Harris was married to Emilia Fox from 2005 until they divorced in 2010.[2] Since 2011, he has been partners with Allegra Riggio.
Harris lives in Los Angeles, California.
