Leonhard "Sepp" Seppala /ˈlɛnərd ˈsɛpələ/ is most famous for his part in the 1925 serum run to Nome. He owned famous dogs dogs called Togo and Balto. He was a dog breeder. He bred dogs for sled racing. He was a dog trainer. He was also a musher. ^[1] He was important in making the Siberian Husky breed popular.
