Mudumbai Seshachalu Narasimhan FRS (7 June 1932 16 May 2021) was an Indian mathematician. He was known, along with C. S. Seshadri, for their proof of the Narasimhan–Seshadri theorem. He was elected as a member of the Fellows of the Royal Society. He was the only Indian to receive the King Faisal International Prize in the field of science.[1]
