Arizona Donnie Barker (also Kate Barker or Ma Barker; October 8, 1873 – January 16, 1935)[1] was an American gangster. She was born in Ash Grove, Missouri. She ran the Barker gang.

On January 16, 1935, Barker and her son, Fred, were killed by federal agents in Ocklawaha, Florida.

The song "Ma Baker" refers to the life and crime of Ma Barker.
