Maria Perego (8 December 1923 – 7 November 2019) was an Italian animation artist. She was known as the creator of the character Topo Gigio in 1959 with her husband Federico Caldura.[1] She was born in Venice.
Perego died on 7 November 2019 in Milan at the age of 95.[2]
