Matt Cardle

Matthew Sheridan Cardle (born 15 April 1983) is an English pop singer and actor. In 2010, he rose to fame after winning the seventh series [en] of The X Factor, and received a £1 million recording contract with Syco Music and later signed a deal with Columbia Records. After winning The X Factor, he released his winner's single "When We Collide [en]", the song peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart and Irish Singles Chart, achieving the UK Christmas number one [en].^[1]
