Mayawati (born 15 January 1956) is an Indian politician. She was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh four times between 1995, 1997, 2002 to 2003 and from 2007 until 2012.[1] She is the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) since 2003.[2] From 2012 until 2017, she was a member of the Rajya Sabha.
