Messy Little Raindrops is the second studio album by British singer Cheryl Cole, released on 29 October 2010 by Fascination Records.[1] The project is the follow-up to Cole's multi-platinum debut solo album 3 Words (2009). Musically, Messy Little Raindrops features a more dance-pop oriented sound, as well as Cole's pop and R&B sound of 3 Words.
The album debuted at number one in the UK becoming her second to do so, and at number two in Ireland. On 19 August 2011 the album was certified Platinum by BPI, with shipments in the UK in the excess of 300,000.[2]
