Miho Nakayama (中山 美穂, Nakayama Miho, 1 March 1970 – 6 December 2024) was a Japanese singer and actress. She was born in Saku, Japan. Her career began in 1985.[1]
Nakayama released her debut single, "C" around the same time she appeared in her first movie Be-Bop High School. She became one of the most popular idols during its "Golden Age" in the 1980s. Her role in the 1985 drama Maido Osawagase Shimasu made her popular.[2][3]
Her best known songs were "Waku Waku Sasete", "50/50", "Catch Me" and "You're My Only Shinin' Star". She also starred in Love Letter (1995).
Nakayama was found dead in her home in Tokyo, Japan on 6 December 2024 at the age of 54.[4][5]
