Michael Steven Kennedy[1] (born February 2, 1969)[2] is an American physician, attorney, and politician who has been a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah's 3rd congressional district since 2025. He is a member of the Republican Party. Kennedy was a member of the Utah Senate from 2021 to 2025. He was a member of the Utah House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019.[3][4]
Kennedy was a candidate for the United States Senate in the 2018 election. He lost the nomination to former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.[5]
In June 2024, Kennedy won the Republican nomination for Utah's 3rd congressional district with 39% of the vote.[6][7]
