Mildura is a city in the state of Victoria, Australia. It is in the northwest part of Victoria, near the border with the state of South Australia and the state of New South Wales. The city is on the Murray River, which is a long and important river in Australia.
The area is known for its warm, sunny weather and good land for farming. People in Mildura grow a lot of grapes and other fruits.
Mildura is a regional centre for many small towns around it. It has a hospital, schools, a university, and a place to see art. It also has an airport.

History
The land where Mildura is today was once home to the Latje Latje people.
In the past, the area was a large farm for sheep. In the late 1800s, two brothers came to the area. They used water from the river to help plants grow. This made the land good for farming.
Climate
Mildura has a hot, dry climate. Summers are very hot, with many days over 30°C. Winters are mild. Not much rain falls in Mildura.
