Naima El Bezaz (3 March 1974[2] – 7 August 2020)[3] was a Dutch writer of Moroccan origin. She also gave lectures and wrote stories, essays and columns.

In September 2006, her third and most controversial book appeared, De verstotene, which talked about controversial content and criticism of religious dogmatism.[4][5]

Bezaz died by suicide on 7 August 2020 in Alphen aan den Rijn, aged 46.[6]
