P. Ramlee (born 11 March 1929; died 29 May 1973) was a famous Malaysian musician. He was born on 22 March 1929, in Penang, Malaysia. He was a talented actor, director, singer, composer, and producer. He was popular in the 1950s and 1960s for his contributions to Malaysian movies and music.
He starred in over 60 films and composed music for many of them. His movies were loved by audiences across Malaysia and Southeast Asia. P. Ramlee's films often explored themes of love, comedy, and social issues. He was known for acting different characters.
