Pimp

A pimp is a person who makes money from other people prostituting themselves.^[1] Other names include procurer, and madam if the person is a woman.

Usually, the prostitutes make money for themselves, but the pimp takes a percentage of the money in exchange for providing them with security and other services. Pimps has gotten connected to a special look, often a male with fancy and colorful clothes with gold accessories.

Pimps has been portrayed in many movies, such as Taxi Driver where the pimp is called "sport"
