Postmidnight,[1][2][3] overnight,[4] wee hours,[5] small hours,[6] wee small hours[7], early hours[8], oh-dark-hundred, oh-dark-thirty, zero-dark-hundred or zero-dark-thirty is period between midnight to dawn.

It is the period when people are already sleeping, and it is also considered the period when bats and owls come into action. It is also the silent period, where the streets are generally empty.
