Priyanka Chopra Jonas (born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar, India) is an Indian actress, model, singer and dancer. She is the winner of the Miss World pageant of 2000.[2] Chopra is a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.[3] She has won many awards, and has become one of Bollywood's highest paid actresses. She stars in the US television series Quantico which premiered on September 27, 2015.[3]
Chopra's parents were both in the Indian Army, so her family moved often. While she was a teenager, she lived in the United States for some years. Since she won the Miss World title in 2000, she has been in many films, television shows, and she has released 3 singles.
In 2018, she married an American singer-songwriter and actor Nick Jonas. In January 2022, the couple had their first child, via surrogacy.[4]
