Being Pro-European means supporting Europe becoming more united and countries joining the European Union. The opposite of this is being Eurosceptic.

People who support Europe often say that being in the EU helps countries. They believe the EU boosts the economy, keeps peace, improves society, and gives countries more power in the world. They also think Europeans share values and a sense of belonging. They say these good things are more important than the problems some people see with the EU.[1][2]
