Punks Not Dead

Punks Not Dead is the debut studio album by Scottish punk rock band, The Exploited. Punks Not Dead was released in April 1981. They made the album as a reaction to critics who thought that the genre was dead, and was also against popular trends such as New Wave, hardcore and post-punk.^[1] The album is regarded as one of the definitive Oi! albums. The album peaked at #20 on the UK charts in May of that year.^[2]
