Ray Reardon (8 October 1932 – 19 July 2024) was a Welsh snooker player who dominated his sport in the seventies of the 20th Century. He won the World Championship six times. Before he was a snooker player he was a professional policeman and miner. He started his career in 1967, and ended in 1992.

Reardon died of cancer on 19 July 2024, at the age of 91.[1]
