Development

In 2012, Ubisoft registered the domains "RaymanLegends.com" and "Rayman-Legends.com",[2] implying that a game was in development. Later,[when?] the company confirmed the develop of the game with a video-trailer.[3]

The game was originally planned to be release only for the Wii U, but the low sales of ZombiU was the reason for releasing the game on other platforms.

Originally, the game was planned for release on November 30, 2012, but on October 8, that date was delayed to February 26, 2013. The game was then delayed again to September 2013 for a release simultaneously with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.
