Rick Loomis (August 24, 1946 – August 23, 2019) was an American game designer. He was known as the founder of game publisher Flying Buffalo.[1] He managed the publishing company until his death. Loomis was born in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Loomis died on August 23, 2019 from lymphoma in Scottsdale, Arizona at the age of 72.[2]
