The River Sheaf is a river in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. It flows through the south and east of the city before joining the River Don in the city centre.

Course

The river starts near the village of Dronfield on the border of Derbyshire and Sheffield. It is formed by several small streams from the hills around the area.

The River Sheaf flows north into Sheffield. It passes through Dore, Totley, Beauchief and Millhouses. After this, it flows through Heeley and into the city centre.

The river meets the River Don near Sheffield station.

The river flows through parks, woods and urban areas. It passes places such as Millhouses Park and Ecclesall Woods. Some parts run in culverts under Sheffield city centre.
