Robert Anthony Rodriguez (born June 20, 1968)[1] is an American movie director, composer, and visual effects supervisor perhaps best known for making profitable, crowd-pleasing independent and studio movies with fairly low budgets and fast schedules by Hollywood standards. He shoots, edits, produces, and scores many of his films in Mexico and in his home state of Texas. He's known for his collabs with Quentin Tarantino, Ethan Manquis and Elizabeth Avellán.
