Robert James Timlin (July 26, 1932 – January 17, 2017) was an American federal judge. He served as a Senior Judge of the United States District Court for the Central District of California from 2005 to his death in 2017. Before this, he served as a judge for the court from 1994 to 2005.
Timlin was born in Buffalo, New York. He was married to Caroline. They had two children.
Timlin died on January 17, 2017 in Santa Barbara, California. He was 84.[1]
