Roberta Alexander (March 3, 1949 – October 14, 2025) was an American operatic soprano. She began her career as a lyric soprano in 1975. She was known for her roles as Mozart characters like Elettra, Fiordiligi, and Countess Almaviva. She was a leading soprano at the Metropolitan Opera from 1983 to 1991. She was known for her roles as Mimì in Puccini's La bohème and the title role in Janáček's Jenůfa.
