Ethel Ruby Keeler[1] (August 25, 1909[1] – February 28, 1993) was a Canadian-American actress, singer, musician and dancer. She acted in several notable musicals through Warner Bros., particularly 42nd Street in 1933. Almost three years after that, she acted in another famous movie, Colleen.
Keeler was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, but raised in New York. She died from cancer in California at 82.
