Saltoro Kangri is a 7,742 metres (25,400 ft) mountain in the Karakoram range, in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir region.[1] It is also known as Saltoro Range. The name means Yellow Mountain.[2] It is the 31st highest mountain in the world. The first people to reach the top were R.A. Bashir, A. Saito, and Y. Takamura, in 1962.
