Samantha Florence Bailey (born 29 June 1977) is an English pop singer. In 2013, she won the tenth series [en] of The X Factor, after she won the contest she released her debut single, a cover of Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper [en]" was released on 15 December 2013, achieving the Christmas number one [en] on 22 December 2013.[1] The first X Factor winner in three years to get the Christmas number one.[2] Her debut studio album, The Power of Love [en], was released in March 2014 and peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The album was re-released in December 2014 titled The Power of Love (The Gift Edition), and featured five new tracks including three Christmas covers and a reworking of an original song titled "Treasure". She released her second studio album, Sing My Heart Out [en], in September 2016 and peaked at number thirty-three on the UK Albums Chart.
