Saoirse Una Ronan (born 12 April 1994) is an American-Irish actress.[1][2] She is best known for her role as Susie Salmon in Peter Jacksons 2009 supernatural drama movie The Lovely Bones and Jo March in Greta Gerwig's Little Women. She also played Broiny Tallis in Atonement (2007), Eilis Lacey in Brooklyn (2015) and Christine "Lady Bird" McPherson in Lady Bird (2017).
Ronan received four Academy Award nominations. She won a Golden Globe Award in 2018.
In 2024, she appeared in The Outrun and Blitz.
