Sheldon Talmy (August 11, 1937 – November 13, 2024) was an American record producer, songwriter, and arranger. He was born in Chicago, Illinois. He was best known for his work in the 1960s with the Who and the Kinks.[1] He also helped produced "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks, "My Generation" by the Who, and "Friday on My Mind" by the Easybeats.

Talmy died from problems caused by a stroke on November 13, 2024 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 87.[2]
