SoFi Stadium is the current stadium and entertainment complex for both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League. SoFi Stadium started construction in late 2016 and opened to the public on September 8, 2020 costing $5.5 billion. It is the largest stadium in the United States. It is also home to the largest high-definition jumbotron in the world. It has hosted Super Bowl LVI and the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship. It is set to host parts of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and some events in the 2028 Summer Olympics, such as the opening ceremony, archery, and football. It is also been used for other events such as concerts.[1] It is one of the two NFL stadiums shared by two teams.
