Stan Walker (born 23 October 1990) is an Australian-New Zealand recording artist, actor and television personality. In 2009, Walker was the winner of the seventh and last season of Australian Idol. He has released 29 singles, including "Black Box", "Unbroken" and "Choose You". He has five studio albums. His music career has led Walker to an acting career, and he has appeared in movies such as Mt. Zion (2013) and Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016).

Walker was born in Melbourne, Victoria. He grew up in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. He is Māori. In 2017, he was diagnosed with stomach cancer.[1]
