Thompson Twins

Thompson Twins were an English alternative rock band formed in 1977.^[1] The group disbanded in May 1993. They were successful in having three top ten hits in the US.^[2] When the group did not move past their Synthpop sound they lost their popularity.^[2] Through most of their career there were three members. However none were twins and none were named Thompson.^[3]
