Turkey Time (also called GMT+3) is a time zone that has been used in Turkey since September 8, 2016. It is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC+03:00). In 2016, the Turkish Government decided to remove daylight saving time changes.[1] After this decision, Northern Cyprus followed Turkey on October 30, 2016 but returned to Eastern European Time on October 29, 2017.[2][3] In October 2017, the Turkish Government announced to return to daylight saving time on October 28, 2018 but later cancelled this decision.[4][5]
