Virgin Orbit was a company in the Virgin Group. Virgin Orbit went bankrupt in 2023.
The company put a few small satellites into space.
The company was made in 2017 to create the LauncherOne rocket, which would be launched from an airplane.
They made one try to go to space on May 25, 2020, which did not work.[1]
