A wreath (/riːθ/) is an collection and placement of flowers, leaves, fruits, twigs, or other materials that is made to form a ring shape.[1] They can be used as holiday decertations or to be placed in cemeteries.[2]

The word wreath comes from Middle English wrethe and from Old English writha 'band'.[1]
