Xcode is Apple's set of programs or tools used to help write computer programs. It includes the tools for designing, coding the program, and fixing problems. This type of software is called an integrated development environment (or IDE). It means it has most of the tools necessary to write new programs. It currently supports Apple's Swift, Java, Python, AppleScript, C, Ruby, and others.
