Walsall is a market town in the county of the West Midlands, England. It is in the Metropolitan Borough of Walsall. It iwas historically part of Staffordshire. Its town centre is 8 miles north-west of Birmingham and 6 miles east of Wolverhampton. A 2011 census revealed that 67,594 people live in the town and 269,323 people live in the borough.
