Angiosperm Phylogeny Group

Angiosperm Phylogeny Group (veya APG, Türkçe: Kapalı Tohumlu Filogenisi Grubu) filogenetik araştırmalarla keşfedilen bitki ilişkileri hakkında yeni bilgileri yansıtan, çiçekli bitkilerin (anjiyospermler) taksonomisi üzerinde bir fikir birliği oluşturmak için işbirliği yapan, gayri resmi bir uluslararası sistematik botanikçiler grubudur.

APG' ye göre angiospermleri evrimi (2013)

2016 itibarıyla, bu iş birliğinden bir sınıflandırma sisteminin dört artımlı versiyonu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu versiyonlar sırası ile 1998 (APG I), 2003 (APG II), 2009 (APG III) ve 2016'da (APG IV) yayınlanmıştır. Grup için önemli bir motivasyon, monofiletik gruplara (yani ortak bir atanın tüm soyundan gelenleri içeren gruplar) dayanmadıkları için önceki anjiyosperm sınıflandırmalarındaki eksikliklerdi.

APG yayınları, koleksiyonlarının düzenini en yeni APG sistemiyle eşleşecek şekilde değiştiren bir dizi büyük bitki koleksiyonu ile giderek daha etkili hale geliyor.
