Yves Chauvin

Yves Chauvin (d. 10 Ekim 1930, Menen - ö. 28 Ocak 2015, Tours), Fransız kimyager. Fransız Petrol Enstitüsü'nün (Institut français du pétrole) onursal başkanı ve Fransız Bilimler Akademisi üyesidir.

Kariyeri

1954 yılında CPE Lyon'dan mezun olmuştur. 2005 yılında, Robert H. Grubbs ve Richard R. Schrock ile birlikte, organik sentezde metatez yönteminin geliştirilmesi konusundaki çalışmaları için Nobel Kimya Ödülü'ne nail görülmüştür.^[1]
