- A search for renewal was done in publications for the year 1977 There were no listings for any titles with "Minneapolis" in them. The search continued at copyright.gov for 1978:
- A renewal search was done at copyright.gov for the Minneapolis Tribune. While the newspaper has meny original registrations after 1978, the search found no renewals of any sort. There's no evidence of copyright continuing on this photo.
