夫三表者，墨子所倡之明辨他說之準則也，見諸《墨子·非命》。其曰有本之者，有原之者，有用之者。具而言之，以古聖王諸事，以為原；以今之百姓耳目之實，以為本；以觀其中國家百姓人民之利，以為用，此之謂三表也。
