圣迭戈电车绿线是由圣迭戈都会运输系统下圣迭戈有轨电车公司经营，往返圣迭戈市中心和桑蒂的轻轨路线[1][2]。本路线是圣迭戈有轨电车系统中四条路线之一，其他三条为蓝线、橘线，和银线（英语：Silver Line (San Diego Trolley)）。本线圣迭戈州立大学转运中心（英语：SDSU Transit Center）是圣迭戈有轨电车系统中第一个地下车站。

历史
绿线是圣迭戈有轨电车系统的第三条路线，在2005年7月5.9英哩的米逊谷（英语：Mission Valley）东延伸线完工时开始营业，往返于桑蒂市中心（英语：Santee Town Center (San Diego Trolley station)）与旧城转运中心（英语：Old Town Transit Center (MTS Transit Center)）；其中Mission San Diego（英语：Mission San Diego (San Diego Trolley station)）到旧城转运中心间为原本蓝线路线，葛罗斯蒙特转运中心（英语：Grossmont Transit Center）到桑蒂市中心为原本橘线路线。本线开通时，蓝线北端终点改为旧城转运中心，橘线东端的终点改为吉莱斯皮机场（英语：Gillespie Field (San Diego Trolley station)）[3]。做为电车系统更新计划的一部分，2012年9月2日电车系统调整时西端的终点延伸到十二街与帝国大街转运中心（英语：12th & Imperial Transit Center）海侧月台，蓝线北端和橘线西端的终点分别改为美国广场（英语：America Plaza (San Diego Trolley station)）与圣迭戈联合车站（英语：Santa Fe Depot）[4]。
