节拍音乐

节拍音乐（英语：Beat Music）、英国节拍乐（英语：British Beat）或默西节拍（英语：Merseybeat）（特指来自默西河畔的利物浦和曼彻斯特的乐队）是一种属于流行乐和摇滚乐的音乐流派，形成于1960年代早期的英国。节拍音乐是摇滚（rock and roll）、嘟-喔普、噪音爵士乐和节奏布鲁斯这几种类型的融合。这一流派中诞生了制造“英国入侵”风潮的许多乐队，他们从1964年起占领了美国流行乐榜单，并对日后流行乐和摇滚乐的发展有重要影响，包括树立了摇滚乐队的典型形态——由主音吉他、节奏吉他、贝斯吉他和架子鼓组成。

术语使用

“节拍音乐”和“默西之声”这两个名称的确切来源不明。“节拍音乐”的名称似乎与1950年代文学运动“垮掉的一代”（Beat Generation）有关，与之更相关的是驱动性的节奏，受到摇滚（Rock and roll）、节奏布鲁斯和灵魂乐的影响。1950年代末，最初的摇滚风潮在“big beat”音乐中衰退，后简称为“beat”，成为现场舞曲的选择。^[1]
